Shadreck Mwale gives back to his community through volunteering as a teacher.

By Ruth Ndolo Shadreck Mwale, a degree student in Computer and Mathematics at Domasi Zomba, has volunteered to teach at St. Augustine Primary school in Mzuzu Luwinga ward, his hometown.
This act of kindness has helped in filling the gap of staff shortage which St. Augustine is currently facing. According to Mr. Sautso Isaac Tembo, the head teacher of St. Augustine, Shadreck's contribution has been a game changer for them. "We are delighted to have Shadreck help out with teaching, because he has eased our work and his dedication is an inspiration to his fellow youth and the whole community." Tembo expressed Talking to Shadreck, he said that his motivation for volunteering stems from his deep connection to the community. "I grew up in this area, and looking back at the amount of support I received, I feel it is only right to appreciate it and give back to my community." Patricia Gondwe, one of his students said in an interview this morning that it is very inspiring to have such a young teacher giving them lessons everyday. "I want to be like sir Shadreck in future teach people from my hometown right here in Mzuzu" Patricia added.
